Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experiencedQuality Engineering Supervisorto lead our Quality Engineering team in Clarion IA. This role is critical in ensuring the highest standards of quality across our manufacturing operations while driving continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.  This role includes direct responsibility for the Factory Quality and Supplier Quality teams with supporting roles in Customer Warranty and PDP Integration. 

As a Quality Engineering Supervisor you will be responsible for all quality planning and production support of manufacturing operations in the factory. You will have direct responsibility for Factory Quality and Supplier Quality teams with supporting roles in Customer Warranty and PDP Integration.  In addition you will: 

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of Quality Engineers and Technicians. 
  • Oversee quality planning and provide production support across manufacturing operations. 
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and ensure alignment with quality objectives. 
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering Operations Supply Management and more. 
  • Champion the customer experience by ensuring product quality and reliability. 
  • Support digital transformation efforts to enhance quality processes and reduce waste. 
  • Manage performance development and succession planning for direct reports. 

 


Qualifications :

What Skills You Need:

  • 3 years of experience in quality management or manufacturing processes. 
  • Proven cross-functional experience (e.g. Engineering Operations Supply Chain). 
  • Strong decision-making skills with a customer-first mindset. 
  • Familiarity with Smart Connected Factory tools and strategies. 

Education or Relevant Work Experience: 
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following: 

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering a technical field or equivalent experience. 
  • In lieu of a degree 5 years of proven experience in manufacturing quality. 

What Makes You Stand Out:

  • 510 years of progressive experience in a production environment. 
  • 2 years of supervisory experience including coaching and performance management. 
  • 3 years of experience with quality tools (PFMEA SPC Root Cause Analysis etc.). 
  • Proficiency in GDT metrology gaging and fixturing strategies. 
  • Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams and influence across disciplines.
