We are currently looking for an experienced 1-3 PQE lawyer to join the Flexibility Assets Division legal team in Budapest. Leveraging on your experience in corporate and commercial law matters you will be responsible for:
- Supporting the legal director of MET Groups Flexibility Assets Division in the legal management of the companies of the Division
- Contributing to the development and management of internal corporate affairs and corporate governance procedures (reviewing proposal running board meetings preparing minutes and monitoring execution of board decisions)
- Preparing legal and corporate documents for the meetings of the board of directors of the corporate entities of the Division
- Supporting internal corporate housekeeping and document management practices (e.g. contract lifecycle management)
- Manage the corporate legal affairs of the Divisions companies
- Draft review and negotiate a broad range of commercial contracts offers
- Supporting the legal integration of newly acquired assets and companies into the Divisions operations
- Managing a variety of legal and regulatory matters in connection with the operating assets of the Division
- Communication with and management of the work of local and external legal advisors
Qualifications :
- Legal degree from an established European University
- Approximately 1-3 years post qualification (bar exam) experience preferably at least partially in-house
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Hungarian. Other languages such as German French or Spanish are a plus
- Solid experience in corporate law and contract drafting
- High degree of professional ethics and integrity
- Sound business judgment and ability to quickly analyze complex legal matters
- Pragmatic and solution-oriented way of working can do attitude
