As the Senior Procurement Technology and Operations Manager you will be instrumental in driving continuous improvements in operational efficiency and technological innovation within the end to end procurement value chain and responsible for maintaining the effective operations relating to supplier enablement in Endeavours PSaaS solutions.

Primarily you will lead the development and implementation of best practices systems and tools to optimize procurement operations enabling the enhancement of performance and delivery of value across the organization. 

This role will also lead manage performance and develop a team setting robust and challenging goals; ensuring team members effectively partner with all internal stakeholders end users and suppliers to identify opportunities that continuously improve Endeavours Operations and enabling systems.

Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role:

  • Partner with senior leadership to align procurement technology and operations strategy and initiatives with Endeavours goals.
  • Lead the simplification and automation of procurement operations processes aligned with company goals and ERP transformation working in collaboration with technology and operations teams.
  • Map end to end processes to identify analyze and evaluate current state S2C and R2P value chains. 
  • Design document and implement optimized future state business processes and controls to drive process and policy compliance supported by robust communication and change management planning.
  • Identify evaluate and deploy advanced digital technologies and accelerator tools to enhance the Procurement operating model and existing Procurement SaaS technology (e.g. web-based self-service procurement e-RFx auction & evaluation tools e-enabled CLM and supplier performance and risk management).
  • Lead the continuous improvement of Procurement analytics strategy and systems focusing on a unified view and improved user experience for data-led decision-making.
  • Develop implement monitor and report on KPIs to measure procurement effectiveness and identify areas for process improvement and value optimization across end-to-end procurement operational processes.
  • Lead the Supplier Enablement team ensuing efficient supplier onboarding maintenance and offboarding in Coupa.
  • Lead the development and implementation of relevant buying channels to increase structured spend (e catalogues) and improve buyer / supplier user journeys.
  • Lead the development and deployment of training for procurement technology proficiency.
  • Lead team in the management of Procurement Operations helpdesk queries deploying self service channels via FAQs.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices trends and technologies in business process optimization.
     

Qualifications :

Now lets talk about you: 

  • Tertiary qualified in Procurement Supply Chain or Business Administration.
  • Minimum of 7 years experience in a similar procurement supply chain management or a related field with a focus on procurement operational excellence and technology and at a senior leadership level.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes systems and best practices.
  • Proven experience in leading process improvement initiatives and deploying procurement technologies.
  • Successfully deployed and managed spend management systems and enhanced functionality and user experience.
  • Strategic planning problem solving analysis and execution skills.
  • Strong results focus with a continuous improvement skill set. 
  • Experience managing a team and developing a high performance culture.
  • Ability to manage cross functional teams and manage large stakeholder groups. 
  • Strong business case development and presentation skills
  • Strong change and communications management skills including executive level report drafting capability.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
  • Relevant professional accreditation or certification such as MCIPS is desired.
