Why Ballys
Ballys Corporation is a global casino-entertainment company with a growing omni-channel presence currently owning and managing 15 casinos across 10 states a golf course in New York a horse racetrack in Colorado and having access to OSB licenses in 18 states. The recent acquisition of Aspers Casino in Newcastle UK further expands its international footprint and enhances its diverse entertainment offerings. It also owns Ballys Interactive International formerly Gamesys Group a leading global interactive gaming operator Bally Bet a first-in-class sports betting platform and Bally Casino a growing iCasino platform.
With 10600 employees the Companys casino operations include approximately 15300 slot machines 580 table games and 3800 hotel rooms. Ballys also has rights to developable land in Las Vegas post the closure of the Tropicana.
Upon completion of the announced merger with The Queen Casino & Entertainment Inc. (Queen) the above portfolio is expected to be supplemented with four additional casinos across three states one of which will be an additional state that expands Ballys jurisdiction of operations to include the state of Iowa. Queen will also add over 900 employees and operations that currently include approximately 2400 slot machines 50 table games and 150 hotel rooms to the Ballys portfolio. Ballys will also become the successor of Queens significant economic stake in a global lottery management and services business through its investment in Intralot S.A. (ATSE: INLOT).
Responsibilities:
Reads and routes incoming and outgoing mail including e-mail and faxes. Locates and attaches
appropriate file to correspondence to be answered by Director.
Composes and types routine correspondence.
Organizes and maintains file system and files correspondence and other records.
Answers and screens telephone calls and arranges conference calls.
Coordinates schedules and makes appointments.
Greets scheduled visitors and conducts to appropriate area or person.
Conducts research and compiles and types statistical reports.
Assists with the coordination and arrangement of meetings prepares agendas reserves and prepares
facilities and records and transcribes minutes of meetings.
Coordinates reviews and analyzes all sponsorship and donation request to include all necessary correspondence in a diplomatic and professional manner.
Makes copies of correspondence or other printed materials.
Orders and maintains supplies and arranges for equipment maintenance.
Promotes positive public relations
Knowledgeable of the Indiana Gaming regulations as well as the companys internal controls policies and procedures.
Always follow the Company Service Standards model.
Must be able to work a variety of hours holidays and weekends as necessary.
Must be available for regularly scheduled work.
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge skill and/or ability required. Regular attendance as scheduled is required. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel and Word and all other systems associated with the position.
