$65000.00 AnnualGeneral Description/Primary Purpose:
The Department of Teaching Learning and Curriculum is seeking a 12-month non-tenure earning Clinical Instructor of Teacher Education. Position responsibilities include:
Supervise coach instruct and mentor teacher candidates in a variety of communities
Coach and mentor supervisors and teachersSupport teacher candidates and UNF faculty in program pathways.
Engage in ongoing partnership work with charter and public-school districts.
Contribute to the ongoing assessment professional learning and improvement of the education program.
Collaborate with university faculty and staff on research initiatives and district partners to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies and curriculum enhancements.
Build and enhance current and new partnerships.
Participate in departmental and college-wide initiatives.
Other relevant responsibilities as assigned.
Supervisor: This position will report to the Department Chair Dr. Christian Winterbottom.
Working Hours: Varies
Supervision Exercised: This is not a supervisory role.
Required Licensure: N/A
Anticipated Start Date: The position is expected to begin on August 4 2025.
Required Qualifications:
Earned masters degree in education or related field from an accredited institution
Experience with clinical supervision and mentorship
Experience in partnership work with school districts
Strong communication collaboration and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
Preferred Qualifications / Skills:
Teaching experience at the college or university level
Experience in PK-12 settings
