About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and creative Social Community Manager to build grow and nurture online communities around Visional Pops character IP brands. This role will serve as the voice of our characters and the bridge between our beloved brands and their global fanbase fostering authentic connections and driving engagement across all digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Community Building & Engagement
- Build and grow vibrant online communities across social media platforms forums and digital channels
- Foster a positive and inclusive community environment that encourages active participation and interaction
- Develop and implement community engagement strategies aligned with Visional Pops character brand objectives
- Identify and cultivate relationships with key community members influencers and brand advocates
Content Curation
- Curate and manage engaging content including posts videos stories and interactive media for character brands
- Develop content calendars that align with character storylines product launches and seasonal campaigns
- Write compelling copy that captures each characters unique voice and personality
- Collaborate with creative partners to ensure content consistency across all brand touchpoints
Social Media Management
- Manage daily operations of social media accounts across multiple platforms (Instagram TikTok Twitter YouTube Discord)
- Monitor community platforms for discussions trends and fan-generated content
- Respond to comments questions and feedback in a timely and authentic manner
- Moderate discussions and enforce community guidelines to maintain a safe environment
Analytics & Reporting
- Track and analyze community engagement metrics including growth activity levels and sentiment
- Monitor brand presence and conduct sentiment analysis of fan feedback
- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to marketing and product teams
- Generate regular reports on community performance and campaign effectiveness
Event & Campaign Management
- Organize and host virtual events live streams Q&As and community meetups
- Plan and execute social media campaigns around character launches and partnerships
- Coordinate fan contests challenges and user-generated content initiatives
- Attend industry events and conventions to represent Visional Pops character brands
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Marketing Communications Media Studies or related field
- 3 years of experience in social media management or community engagement
- Proven track record of growing and managing online communities preferably in entertainment or character-based brands
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with ability to adapt voice for different characters
- Proficiency in social media management tools analytics platforms and content creation software
- Strong understanding of pop culture trends anime gaming and character fandoms
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in entertainment gaming anime or character IP industries
- Knowledge of Discord or fun related community management
- Experience with influencer partnerships and creator collaborations
