Job Description

MTU Maintenance Dallas is part of the worlds largest independent jet engine MRO company based in Germany providing aftermarket and OEM-licensed engine maintenance services worldwide. As a part of MTU Aero Engines with over 80 years of experience in the design development and production of jet engine components modules and engines; MTU Maintenance is a global network of over 4000 employees with over 35 years of experience in the MRO market.

MTU provides maintenance from targeted hospital visits to complete overhauls on over 30 commercial aero engine and industrial gas turbine lines and has completed more than 18000 shop visits for over 1400 customers worldwide. Within this Global network MTU Maintenance Dallas provides hospital shop and on-site maintenance services.

Human Resources Manager

The Human Resources Manager will report to the Director Human Resources. In this role you will be responsible for developing and executing human resource strategies thatsupport business goals and foster a high-performance culture. This role oversees employee relations performance management compensation & benefits and compliance/policies.

The Human Resources Manager assists the Director Human Resources with ensuring alignment with MTU objectives while driving initiatives to enhance employee engagement diversity and organizational effectiveness.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • HR Strategy & Organizational Development
  • Employee Relations & Diversity Initiatives
  • Change Management & Organizational Transformation
  • Performance Management & Succession Planning
  • Talent Acquisition & Retention Strategies
  • Regulatory Compliance
  • Benefits & Compensation Design
  • Learning Management Systems (LMS) Implementation
  • Employee Engagement & Retention
  • Employee Performance & Conflict Resolution

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong knowledge of Federal State/Local employment laws and regulations
  • Familiarity with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) guidelines
  • Documented and verifiable experience supporting a multi-location organization (preferably international)
  • Documented and verifiable experience supporting a large organization i.e. 1000 employees)
  • Experience with HRIS/Payroll systems (e.g. ADP Kronos Paycom Paylocity Dayforce etc.)
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams applicants and other stakeholders when applicable

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors Degree from an accredited institution of higher learning in the disciplines of Human Resources Management Business Administration Business Management Organizational Psychology or equivalent.
  • Fifteen (15) or more years of documented relevant work experience leading Human Resources teams with at least five (5) or more of those years within the Aviation industry. In lieu of a Bachelors degree five or more years of experience may be substituted for a total of twenty or more years of Human Resources experience.
  • Proficient in MS Office programs Google Office etc.
