Job Description
At Modern Animal were on a mission to build the future of veterinary care together. We believe in bringing humanity back to veterinary medicine and were looking for a passionate compassionate and skilled Credentialed Veterinary Technician (referred to internally as Veterinary Nurse) to join our growing Virtual Care team.
These roles may support telemedicine triage client service and prescription fulfillment as needed.
Available shifts include a mix of:
Evening telemedicine shifts (typically 5:00 PM 10:00 PM PST 45 days/week)
Daytime hybrid shifts (typically 10:00 AM 7:00 PM PST 45 days/week)
Specific schedules vary based on current team needs.
What Youll Be Doing:
- Engage with members via chat phone and video providing support and education on their pets health and well-being
- Triage cases based on veterinary knowledge offering recommendations and ensuring accurate information
- Review medical records to understand patient history and provide informed guidance
- Document clearly and accurately in patient records using veterinary terminology
- Verify and process prescriptions ensuring appropriate follow-up for client requests
- Deliver top-tier client care with empathy and warmth whether over chat phone or video
- Follow protocols maintaining consistency while adjusting to each unique case
- Collaborate cross-functionally providing feedback to improve processes and systems

- Comfortable sitting and standing at a computer for extended periods
