The Boeing CompanyBoeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a First-Line Product and Service Quality Manager (Level K) to support the Quality team in Puyallup Washington on 1st 2nd 3rd shift.
A manager in this role will develop cross-functional partnerships to achieve team and program goals while developing a work environment that promotes accountability trust teamwork quality and safety.
Position Responsibilities:
Manages employees who evaluate and ensure that products services and processes comply with customer contract requirements engineering requirements company procedures and government regulations
Develops and executes business plans policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies to improve performance
Provides education and coaching on the Quality System
May make airworthiness determinations on behalf of the company and regulatory agencies
Acquires and manages resources and leads process improvements
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers stakeholders peers partners suppliers and direct reports
Manages develops and motivates employees
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3 years of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal role
3 years of experience in aircraft assembly
3 years working with managing product definition data requirements processes or product data
3 years of experience with root cause corrective analysis
3 years of experience with Quality Management System (QMS)
3 years of experience performing Material Review Board (MRB) product review
Willing to work any shift (shift will be determined at the time of offer)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
3 years of experience in a factory environment
3 years of experience working with quality and/or manufacturing data systems
3 years of experience using Microsoft Office tools (Word Outlook Excel and PowerPoint)
