Job Description

A growing healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Compliance Officer to oversee regulatory compliance for its Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) program. This role is critical in ensuring the organization adheres to all Medicaid and HCBS regulations while maintaining the highest standards of quality and accountability.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Ensure full compliance with federal and state Medicaid and HCBS regulations

  • Develop and implement internal policies audits and corrective action plans

  • Monitor and investigate incidents billing practices and staff compliance

  • Serve as the point of contact for regulatory agencies and audits

  • Train staff on compliance standards procedures and regulatory updates

Ideal Qualifications:

  • 3 years of experience in healthcare compliance preferably in HCBS or long-term care

  • Strong understanding of Medicaid regulations HIPAA and state-specific compliance standards

  • Experience working with regulatory bodies such as DOH OPWDD or OMIG

  • Excellent communication documentation and organizational skills

Salary: $90k - $120k/Year
