Job Description

Position: GA DHS Security Compliance Project Manager
Location: Atlanta GA (30334)
Client: State of Georgia
Duration: 12 Months

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support security audits for the DHS Security Team. The ideal candidate will provide project management consultation develop audit management tools and ensure compliance with audit policies and procedures while collaborating with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead security audit projects and develop comprehensive workstream plans.
  • Monitor project performance risks and milestones to ensure timely delivery.
  • Utilize project management standards and quality objectives to guide project teams.
  • Conduct reviews and feedback sessions with stakeholders at project completion.
  • Foster strong relationships with project sponsors vendors and clients.

Key Technical Skills:

  • 3 years of experience in IT project management with a focus on information security and compliance.
  • Proficiency in information security standards (e.g. NIST 800-53 IRS Pub 1075).
  • Expert in MS Project MS Visio SharePoint 2013 and MS O365.
  • PMP certification or equivalent is required.
  • Experience with vendor-managed audit projects and in state government environments is a plus.
