Customer Service Representative (Onsite Debit Account Support)

Location: Onsite San Antonio TX
Type: Full-Time Contract-to-Hire
Pay Rate:$15.00 per hour
Shift Differential:

  • $1.50/hour: MondaySunday 6:00 PM 6:00 AM
  • $1.00/hour: Saturday & Sunday 6:00 AM 6:00 PM

Training Schedule

  • MondayFriday 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
  • Includes a 1-hour lunch and two 15-minute breaks

Job Summary

We are hiring onsite Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) to support debit account services for a government financial services client. This role involves assisting customers by phone with their account needs troubleshooting issues and delivering high-level service while navigating multiple computer systems efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist customers with debit account questions and transactions
  • Resolve account inquiries and troubleshooting issues professionally
  • Navigate multiple computer applications with speed and accuracy
  • Always maintain professionalism and world-class customer service
  • Accept and implement coaching and performance feedback
  • Recommend financial products/services that best meet customer needs
  • Read and interpret documents relevant to customer accounts
  • Maintain focus and quality in a fast-paced metric-driven environment

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GEDrequired
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Minimum 6 months of customer service experience (phone or in-person)
  • Must be able to type 25 WPM
  • Strong telephone etiquette and active listening skills
  • Ability to interact professionally with a diverse customer base
  • Positive attitude and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to handle pressure and remain focused in high-volume environments
  • Excellent attention to detail and multitasking ability
  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
