Suffolk Mindsmission isto make Suffolk the best place in the world for talking about and taking care of mental health and to assist with this we are looking to recruita Facilitator for our Eating Recovery Service.

Our Eating recovery service will support adults those who identify as having an eating disorder or disordered eating. Our team provide assessment leading on to group and one to one support. Our approach combines psychoeducational nutrition and CBT interventions to offer a holistic approach.

We are looking for someone to provide emotional and practical support which will enable service users to meet their emotional needs and achieve personal growth. You will need to facilitate group sessions provide one to one focus work and be a positive face for Eating Recovery.

  • Experience of working with people in mental health
  • Experience of facilitating support groups as well as support in a 121 setting
  • Good listening and people skills
  • Ability to clearly communicate through different means sometimes over sensitive and/or complex issues
  • Desirable: therapeutic experience experience of working with people with eating disorders
