Job Description

The position of Staffing Facilitator is situated within the MacKillop National After-Hours Services Unit which provides a responsive after hours support service to our residential care home based care lead tenant and case management programs that provide support for young people with high and complex needs and a therapeutically oriented program for young people in protective MacKillop National After-Hours Service operates from the Preston site. The position reports to the respective Coordinator.

This is a Permanent Full-Time (38 hours per week - 1.0 EFT) opportunity based in Preston within our MacKillop National After-Hours Service. The position reports to the Coordinator.

Key Selection Criteria:

To be successful in this role you will have:

A knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal culture and values and an awareness of the current issues faced by Aboriginal children young people and their families.

Experience in youth services or residential care.

Ability to relate to and work with young people with social emotional and behavioural difficulties.

Experience and understanding of OH&S issues in the workplace.
