Things youll do in this role:
Hire grow support and manage the performance of (currently 2) engineering managers and a few senior individual contributors.
Foster a diverse and healthy engineering culture that allows your team to deliver customer value quickly and consistently over time.
Partner with product and design peers to define the roadmap and drive outcomes.
Help your team design the systems and make technical decisions that impact our product and infrastructure.
Things were looking for:
Proven experience leading engineering teams ideally as a manager-of-managers in startup environments.
Prior experience as a software engineerwe want our leaders to be able to empathize with their team.
Passion for building a business-minded engineering culture.
A strong belief that we can do things fast and well at the same time.
This role isnt for you if:
You want a remote job. We value in-person collaboration and spend three days a week in the office.
You prefer staying within your area of expertise and operating in structured environments. We navigate ambiguity at extreme pace and everyone is a generalist.
