Titan Technologies LLC (Titan) is seeking an experienced self-directed Network Administrator to support the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) III contract. As a member of our team you will help to assist USSOCOM Service Component Commands Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOC) and deployed forces in the delivery of a full spectrum of Information Technology (IT) services to operate and maintain information flow communications and connectivity globally.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitor the LAN and WAN equipment and circuits utilizing Riverbed Event Manager.
- Perform initial triage and resolve or escalate technical problems for established networks.
- Serve as the technical specialist in network problems and emergencies; assist in troubleshooting and resolution of network production problems.
- Maintain network operations expansion and potential abuse through enterprise network intrusion detection system firewalls and VPN devices.
- Work with the Systems Engineer in network design analysis and configuration validation.
- Maintain documentation which may include CMDB information as-built drawings circuit inventory equipment inventory configurations and training materials.
- Perform project work as assigned by the Senior Team members.
- Document instances of hardware failure repair installation and removal.
- Administer the operation of all LAN/WAN-related network services according to Government policies and procedures.
- Coordinate and implement network software and hardware upgrades.
- Troubleshoot and resolve LAN/WAN performance connectivity and related network problems.
- Administer LAN/WAN security antivirus and spam control measures.
- Use a variety of tools to monitor and troubleshoot the network.
- Create monitoring reports and logs and ensure the functionality of links.
- Document and maintain network topologies.
- Resolve ticket requests work to resolve incidents and escalate to the Engineering team when required.
- Represent USSOCOM and interface with software and hardware vendors for support issues.
- Manage systems using identity and access management (IAM) security information and event management (SIEM) systems (e.g. Splunk) endpoint detection and response (EDR) tools intrusion prevention systems (IPS) and other tools used in support of zero trust by vendors such as AppGate Okta Splunk ForgeRock Nutanix Zscaler Cisco CrowdStrike AWS etc.
Required Qualifications:
- 3 years experience as a LAN/WAN Network Administrator.
- A DoD TS/SCI clearance is required.
- Information Assurance Technical Levle II Certification required- DoDD 01-M IAT II
- Cisco Certified Network Associate CCNA certification is required.
- BS 2 years of experience OR MS 0 years of experience OR HS with 6 years of experience OR AA 4 yrs of experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Four years of complex and progressive experience in implementing administering performing testing and analyzing network.
