Job Summary

Position Description:

CGI is looking for a Network Architect specialized in mobility and 5G technologies.
You will contribute to the design deployment and evolution of next-generation mobile network architectures as part of strategic projects in digital transformation and advanced connectivity.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Design and define 5G network architecture (core and RAN) according to client needs and industry standards.
Evaluate recommend and integrate cutting-edge solutions such as virtualization SDN/NFV slicing and edge computing.
Ensure compliance with security performance and interoperability standards.
Collaborate with vendors and partners on solution integration.
Participate in capacity planning validation testing and network performance optimization.
Produce architecture documentation and support engineering and operations teams in implementation.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering Telecommunications Computer Science or related field.
Minimum 10 years of experience in telecom networks including 35 years in 4G/5G architectures.
Strong knowledge of mobility protocols (LTE 5G NR IMS EPC 5GC).
Experience in designing and deploying virtualized networks (SDN NFV Cloud-native).
Expertise in mobile network security and multi-vendor integration.
Assets
Recognized certifications (Cisco Nokia Ericsson 3GPP etc.).
Experience in IoT network architecture and industrial 5G use cases.
Knowledge of cloud environments (Azure AWS Google Cloud) applied to mobility.
