Job Description
- Full time fixed term until 14 July 2027
- Provide education administrative and operational support to Teaching staff at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music
- Base Salary $112628 - $% superannuation
About the opportunity
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- provide broad range of education administrative and operational support to Teaching staff to meet the educational support needs of the Sydney Conservatorium of Music
- provide substantial support to the Professional Experience Academic Coordinator to coordinate the Music Education professional experience placements
- managing the student internship and regional buddy programs
- providing secretariat support for the Student Life and Wellbeing committee and assisting the Academic Plan Leader in matters relating to students with disability including distribution of Academic Plans
- providing operational support for the pre-admission and audition cycle to students and staff
This role may involve travel and attending recruitment events outside of core business hours.
About you
- tertiary qualifications or an equivalent combination of training and experience
- advanced technology skills are required in Word Outlook Excel PowerPoint. Familiarity with the University systems including PowerBI Qualtrics Concur and SONIA is preferable
- experience in delegating with clear and tactful communication skills (both verbal and written)
- solution focussed with a keenness to use initiative and exercise sound judgement
- demonstrated ability to work independently and recognising periods to work as part of a team
- experience delivering educational administrative support to programmes preferably in a tertiary education environment.
