A Randstad client in Washington DC is seeking a creative and performance-driven Email Marketing Copywriter to craft compelling email content that drives engagement across marketing campaigns lifecycle journeys and transactional touchpoints. This role requires a strategic thinker who can adapt brand voice for diverse audiences write impactful subject lines and preheaders and collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape cohesive email experiences that align with campaign objectives and performance goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Write clear persuasive and on-brand email copy for marketing transactional and lifecycle communications
  • Develop subject lines and preheaders that increase open rates and user engagement
  • Adapt tone and messaging to resonate with various audience segments
  • Collaborate with designers CRM managers and strategists to deliver cohesive and effective email content
  • Ensure copy aligns with campaign goals and brand standards while maintaining a balance between creativity and performance
  • Apply storytelling techniques that capture attention and encourage user action
  • Incorporate accessibility best practices into email content
  • Leverage knowledge of email platforms (e.g. Salesforce Marketing Cloud) to optimize message format
  • Use performance metrics to inform content improvements
  • Support copy needs across all stages of the customer journey
