The Human Health Research Services Platform is hosted by the Liggins Institute and provides a comprehensive range of services to support human health research across the University of Auckland including data services statistical support health economics research coordination follow-up research coordination digital support and clinic space and nursing support. The Human Health Research Services Manager will provide strategic and operational leadership for the development implementation and sustainability of the human health research services across the University of Auckland.
Reporting to the Institute Operations Manager this role also drives the on-going growth and development of the services. This includes growing the awareness and reputation of the service among relevant internal and external client groups leading the continuous improvement of the service offerings and the planning and implementation of new resources and technologies to maintain the platforms viability and sustainability as a leading service support model at the University of Auckland.
This is a fulltime (37.5 hours per week) permanent position. The salary range for this role is between $112100 - $137200 dependant on skills and experience.

Qualifications :

Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in human health research service delivery and demonstrated leadership of clinical research services and multidisciplinary teams. You will also demonstrate solid knowledge and application of best practice in clinical research and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) as well as strong financial and budget management. Experience managing change developing new human health research services working collaboratively and fostering a culture focusing on excellent customer service is also valuable in this role.
