Job Description
Job Title: Data Engineer

Role Responsibilities:
- Design develop and maintain scalable data architectures.
- Implement ETL processes to extract transform and load data efficiently.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements.
- Develop and optimize data models for reporting and analytical needs.
- Ensure data security and compliance with internal policies and regulations.
- Integrate cloud data services and manage cloud infrastructure.
- Create and maintain documentation for data workflows and architectures.
- Conduct data quality assessments and implement data governance practices.
- Utilize BI tools to create visualizations and reports for stakeholders.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team best practices.
- Work with PIM systems to manage product data effectively.
- Analyze and troubleshoot data-related issues and performance bottlenecks.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Provide support during data migrations and system upgrades.
- Mentor junior data engineers and assist in their professional development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
- Strong understanding of cloud data platforms (e.g. AWS Azure).
- Proficient in ETL tools and methodologies.
- Experience with BI tools (e.g. Tableau Power BI).
- Solid knowledge of data security best practices.
- Excellent SQL skills for database management.
- Proficient in programming languages such as Python or Java.
- Experience with data modeling and database design.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
- Experience with PIM solutions is a plus.
- Passion for learning new technologies and improving skills.
- Certifications in relevant fields (e.g. AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus.
