Job Description
Due to retirement we arecurrently seeking candidates who are passionate about providing exceptional care for our patients at theHutchinson Health Ortho and Rehab qualified candidate will assist our providers in the delivery of care by ensuring patient questions and concerns are addressed promptly and the chart notes are accurate. The assistant will be responsible for coordinating care with other departments and referring physicians. Teamwork is essential. The candidate must have a strong knowledge of anatomy physiology pharmacology and medical terminology - knowledge of surgical and treatment procedures preferred. This position will be scheduled a total of 64 hours every two weeks (4 days a week) and is eligible for all benefits including Medical/Dental insurance retirement PTO and more.
Education Training or Degree Required:
- Medical Assistant Program Graduate or LPN registered in State MN
License/Registration/Certification Required: (will be primary source verified by HR)
- Current LPN license in the State of Minnesota or Medical Assistant certification or registration preferred.
- Current CPR certification required
Experience and Skills: (indicate preferred or required)
- Previous Medical Assistant or LPN experience in a clinic setting preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate care to patients served along with appropriate support services to MD NP and PA required. Familiarity with legal and insurance requirements related to documentation within the medical record required.
- Strong human relations written and verbal communication skills required. Ability to work without direct supervision.
