Hybrid Role purpose:
The Plant IT Specialist position is a hybrid role and we anticipate 75% of the workload to be under the ISIT umbrella and 25% of the work load to be under the DCS umbrella.
ISIT (75%): General IT Infrastructure Systems Administration work focuses on installation configuration and maintenance of IT systems software and hardware for multi-user server computers and/or personal computing devices at the McIntosh facility. This individual will be the first point of contact for the facility with regards to IT needs.
DCS (25%): The incumbent will provide safe responsible high-quality maintenance and technical support services to the McIntosh facility 24 hours per day / 365 days per year.
This position ensures the availability and functionality of all plant control system installations and change patterns whether PLC ESD or DCS. and to Support DCS lead in some tasks as requested. He/she will obtain broad directives and priorities from upper levels.

Food Safety
Carry out responsibilities/duties according to food safety legal and quality requirements so as to ensure that our products are fit for human consumption.
Environment:
Comply with all environmental standards procedures and work instructions at all times.
Report any environmental violations or near misses in order to prevent any impact upon the local environment its inhabitants and Tate & Lyle.
Health & Safety:
Adhere to the safety policies procedures and site rules.
Fully participate in the safety program including reporting any incidents or near misses and auditing.
