Position Overview:
We are actively seeking veterans with experience working in government and local municipalities to join our team as IT Consultants. The ideal candidates will possess a deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities within the public sectors IT landscape. This role is an excellent opportunity to utilize your expertise in a meaningful way while supporting organizations that serve the public.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with government agencies and local municipalities to evaluate and enhance their IT systems and strategies.
- Provide strategic guidance on technology solutions that improve operational efficiency and service delivery.
- Assist in the planning and implementation of IT projects ensuring compliance with governmental regulations and policies.
- Conduct assessments and audits of existing IT systems to identify areas for improvement and recommend best practices.
- Facilitate training sessions and provide ongoing support for government staff on new technologies and system upgrades.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies and trends relevant to government IT operations and policies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and promote long-term partnerships.

Qualifications:
- Veteran status with experience working within government agencies or local municipalities.
- Proven experience in IT consulting or management particularly in the public sector.
- Strong understanding of governmental IT policies compliance requirements and operational challenges.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a track record of developing effective IT solutions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills capable of engaging with diverse stakeholders.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies is preferred.
- Relevant certifications (e.g. ITIL PMP) are a plus.
