Base Salary: S$2800 - S$3500

Responsibilities:

• Perform dimensional visual and hardness inspections using gauges micrometers calipers ultrasonic testers and other tools as per drawings and order requirements.
• Conduct incoming and outgoing inspections ensuring material traceability at all times.
• Identify and report non-conformances; sketch defects when needed.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• NITEC / O-Level / N-Level qualification.
• 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (preferably Oil & Gas).
• Knowledge of ISO9001 quality systems inspection tools.

Job Description

1) Perform dimensional inspection as required by the order / drawing using various measuring equipments such as bore gauge depth gauge vernier caliper dial indicator surface roughness tester OD / ID micrometer ultrasonic gauge etc.

2) Able to interpret dimensional / geometrical requirements in the drawing and determine appropriate measuring equipment to use.

3) Perform incoming / outgoing inspection as needed which includes dimensional length visual and Brinell hardness inspection.
- Required to prepare the material for hardness inspection.
- Required to perform Rockwell hardness inspection and / or marking as needed.

4) Ensure material traceability maintained at all times.

5) Ensuring job is completed per order requirements and raise non-conformance to QC Team Lead / Quality Manager as needed. Required to be able to sketch defect as needed.

6) Any other ad hoc duties as required by QC Team Lead / Quality Manager.

• Perform incoming material inspections as per the appropriate Work Instruction (WI).
• Perform correctly the daily in-process and final inspection of the product in accordance with the Quality Procedure (QP) and WI.
• Ensure material/component traceability (router sheet) is maintained throughout the manufacturing process.
• Ensure to clock in/out (VM) and update the router sheet correctly.
• Ensure only calibrated and validated equipment/measuring devices are used in the inspection processes.
• Report to the Supervisor/Lead on any non-conformance(s) detected during inspection.
• Ensure repaired/reworked items are re-inspected before releasing the product for further processing or delivery.
• Prepare and complete inspection records prior to shipment to customers.
• Perform any ad-hoc duties as and when assigned by superior.
• Support in the orientation of new recruitment for the quality team by providing on-the-job-training and sharing the company culture and practice and method of inspection etc.
• Adheres companys guidelines with regards to Safety and Quality.
• Complies to Company Code of Business Conduct.
• Support and participate in company-wide or departmental programs such as:

QUALIFICATION GUIDE

• Education : NITEC/ O or N Levels
• At least 1-2 years of working experience in fast-pace Manufacturing environment (preferably Oil and Gas manufacturing)
• Able to communicate in (read write speak listen and Understand) simple English and Mandarin.
• Physically fit (with good eyesight)
• Preferably knowledge of ISO9001 Quality Management System Quality Control and usage of measuring devices/tools LDP (Liquid Die penetrant or Non destructive testing).
