Regional Demand Manager EMEA

Role Overview

We are looking for a Regional Demand Manager to lead and coordinate demand management activities across the EMEA region. This pivotal role acts as a key interface between Commercial and Manufacturing functions ensuring alignment between customer demand growth plans and supply capabilities.

You will work closely with commercial teams to shape accurate forecasts manage promotions and translate business insights into actionable plans. Youll also collaborate with manufacturing sites to understand constraints and ensure optimal supply planning. This role is central to driving performance across cost-to-serve inventory production and customer order fulfillment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead regional demand planning and support the Commercial and European Leadership Team (ELT) with demand evolution insights.

  • Manage forecast deviations and challenge commercial inputs constructively.

  • Ensure accurate and timely updates in business systems to reflect demand signals.

  • Act as the central point of contact for demand-related topics across stakeholders and ELT.

  • Align consensus demand (018 months) with financial forecasts growth plans and promotional activities.

  • Provide structured actionable insights to manufacturing sites to support operational targets.

  • Analyze and synthesize external market factors to enrich demand forecasts.

  • Use structured inputs to run business simulations and scenario planning to maximize profitability.

  • Collaborate with internal corporate teams to integrate advanced analytics and AI models into demand planning.

  • Partner with other regions to review and standardize demand planning processes.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize operations reduce costs and enhance service levels.

  • Lead harmonization of methodologies across EU sites.

  • Support monthly and weekly demand management cadences aligned with the global S&OP process.

Experience & Competencies

  • Masters degree in Business Supply Chain or related field.

  • 5 years of experience in S&OP and material handling preferably in the chemical industry.

  • Proven experience in demand planning and demand analytics.

  • Strong understanding of inventory management.

  • Exposure to commercial functions and understanding of commercial priorities.

  • Experience in project management and process optimization.

  • Experience in people management.

  • Fluent in English.

  • High proficiency in IT tools: SAP (highly preferred) Excel IBM PA BI.

  • Strong communication negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and foster collaboration.

  • Customer-centric mindset with a flair for conceptual and innovative thinking.
