About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Head of Demand Planning to lead and strengthen the demand planning function across Greater China. The role is highly strategic requiring strong leadership advanced forecasting expertise and the ability to drive alignment across multiple business functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and chair regional demand planning activities for Consumer and Commercial businesses.
• Build a single consensus forecast communicate assumptions and ensure alignment across functions and regions.
• Employ demand analytics at product segment and market levels to improve decision-making.
• Manage forecasting assumptions (Price Place Promotion Product External factors) and ensure lifecycle management of new and existing products.
• Drive S&OP processes and support preparation of MOR & business review decks.
• Improve forecast accuracy reduce bias and optimize safety stock settings in collaboration with supply planning.
• Ensure forecast system data integrity and continuously improve demand planning processes.

Requirements

• 1015 years of combined experience in Supply Chain (Demand Planning function) Sales and Marketing.
• At least 35 years of solid leadership experience heading the demand planning function in mid-to-large organizations.
• Strong expertise in forecasting planning and cross-functional leadership in large organizations.
• Experience in matrix organizations and ability to work across multiple business units/functions.
• Deep knowledge of Supply Chain Manufacturing Logistics and Sales & Marketing.
• Strong project management stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and demand planning systems (o9 Kinaxis E2Open IBP).
• Exposure to advanced analytics / ML-based forecasting methods is a strong plus.
• Fluent in English; Mandarin is an advantage.
