Job Summary
As Analyst IT you would be part of Data Engineering team to designs develops and maintains web applications using the Oracle APEX platform.
What youll be doing
- Design and develop custom web applications using Oracle APEX.
- Create and manage database objects (tables views procedures packages).
- Optimize and troubleshoot SQL queries and PL/SQL code.
- Develop user-friendly responsive interfaces and dashboards.
- Integrate APEX applications with other systems via REST APIs web services or Oracle tools.
- Maintain application documentation and adhere to coding standards and security guidelines.
- Participate in requirements analysis technical design testing and deployment.
- Work collaboratively with business analysts QA teams and other developers.
- Provide support and maintenance for existing APEX applications.
- Migration of Apex Workspaces/Applications from lower version to higher version.
What youll bring
- 4 years of experience in Oracle APEX development.
- Proficient in SQL and PL/SQL.
- Strong understanding of all Oracle Database Versions.
- Working experience with HTML CSS JavaScript jQuery.
- Familiarity with RESTful web services and JSON.
- Understanding and experience in application performance tuning and security best practices in Apex.
- Experience in version control systems like GIT is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Working experience with latest Oracle APEX version is a plus.
- Working experience in any ETL tool is a plus.
- Working experience with AWS is a plus.
Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelors of Science in computer science or equivalent
- 3 years of PLSQL and SQL experience
- 3 years of Oracle APEX experience
- Preferred certifications:
- Oracle APEX certification
- SQL/PL SQL Certification
- AWS Cloud Practitioner (Nice to have)
