About the role
Join a passionate team at headspace Horsham as a Senior Mental Health Clinician where youll play a key role in delivering high-quality mental health services to young people. This position involves managing a full caseload providing clinical assessments and treatment supporting staff through consultation and advice and contributing to clinical governance and service quality.
Youll also engage directly with young people offering counselling advocacy care coordination and fostering strong links with health education and social support services.
Work closely with a dedicated team including the Team Leader Clinical Services and Senior Clinical Advisor to help drive positive outcomes in youth mental health.

Your skills and experience
- Tertiary qualifications in an allied health discipline (Social Work Psychology Mental Health Nursing Occupational Therapy or equivalent)
- Additional mental health-specific training or endorsement (for Social Workers OTs and Mental Health Nurses)
- Full registration with AHPRA or full membership with AASW
- Advanced clinical skills and experience in diverse mental health settings
- Proven ability to work with young people experiencing complex mental health issues including suicide risk and behavioural challenges
- Strong experience in clinical triage assessment treatment referral and case management with a focus on early intervention and tailored care planning
