Job Description
Welcome to a medical center where youre the center of attention.
Pay range:
$25.42 - $38.13Responsible for scheduling and coordinating all inpatient and outpatient specialty specific surgical procedures. Including but not limited to coordinating necessary aspects leading to procedure all specific details within surgery and coordination of follow up care if applicable. Handle the complexities of the specialty surgery scheduling with proficiency and knowledge. Obtain prior authorization from insurance companies for all surgical cases and related testing.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of two years experience in a clinical or hospital scheduling environment required.
Prior surgery scheduling experience preferred.
Knowledge of surgical procedures
Customer relation skills with a significant impact on patient safety customer satisfaction and resources utilization.
Ability to multi-task be organized and detail oriented.
Demonstrated proficient computer keyboard skills knowledge of Word and Excel programs. Knowledge of ICD10 and CPT codes.
Knowledge of medical insurance and understanding not limited to benefits authorizations and pre-certifications.
Demonstrated ability to handle a wide variety of functions simultaneously with many interruptions.

Posted pay ranges represent the entire pay scale from minimum to maximum.
