Job Description
Senior Legal Counsel Melbourne
Join Kinetic Australia and New Zealands largest and fastest growing bus operator as we shape the future of zero-emissions transport. Were looking for an experienced Senior Legal Counsel to provide expert commercially focused legal advice and play a key role in protecting Kinetics interests while supporting growth across the business.
In this role you will:
- Draft negotiate and manage a wide range of contracts including services agreements procurement and construction contracts M&A documentation and leases
- Deliver clear and strategic legal advice to senior stakeholders with a focus on practical solutions
- Support business growth by managing internal and external legal workstreams transactions and tenders
- Enhance legal risk and governance processes and ensure compliance with regulations and tender obligations
- Strengthen legal knowledge and awareness across the business
About you:
- You hold a current Australian practising certificate with at least 5 years PQE from a top or mid-tier law firm
- Youre commercially minded solutions-oriented and experienced in advising across diverse legal areas
- You bring strong judgement integrity communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Youve worked on complex commercial matters ideally with exposure to M&A infrastructure projects or energy
- You thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy being part of a team thats making a difference
