Hill Tutoring is seeking a compassionate and skilled reading tutor to teach reading classes at Kerr-Vance Academy located at 700 Vance Academy Road Henderson NC 27537 (Vance County). This is a great opportunity to support students with reading instruction in a 4:1 setting that builds core academic skills and confidence through Hills research-based Orton-Gillingham-inspired methodology.

We are specifically seeking a licensed educator who is available to tutor MondayThursday between 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. on the Kerr-Vance Academy campus (700 Vance Academy Road Henderson NC 27537).

Hill Tutoring provides:

• Reliable consistent tutoring schedule
• Training in Hills evidence-based teaching methods
• All materials and supplies provided
• Mentorship and collaboration with a mission-driven educational team
• Administrative team handles scheduling billing and parent communication
• Starting pay of $55/hour

Ideal Candidates Will Have:

• Experience teaching or tutoring elementary and middle school-aged students
• Current North Carolina licensed educator
• Familiarity with multisensory and student-centered instruction
• A flexible professional and collaborative approach
• A desire to make a positive impact within a school community

This is a rewarding opportunity for educators who want to work closely with students in a supportive hands-on environment. Additional tutoring hours may be available either virtually or with other Henderson-based students depending on interest and availability.
