Job Description
Core Responsibilities:

Engineering Drawing Interpretation
-
Read and interpret engineering/technical drawings (both 2D and 3D) including detail and assembly drawings with dimensions tolerances and material specifications.

Component Knowledge

Understand mechanical component types (fasteners machined parts assemblies etc.) their attributes manufacturing context material and functional properties.

Attribute Data Harvesting
-
Extract attribute information (e.g. part numbers dimensions materials) from engineering drawings-potentially using tools like AutoCADs Data Extraction wizard-and organize this into structured data formats like spreadsheets.

Data Management with MS Excel & PowerPoint
-
Use MS Excel for data collection cleaning formatting (formulas pivot tables charts) and export.

Use MS PowerPoint to present findings summarize data insights and create visual reports.
