Job Description

Job Posting 2: Network Operations L2 Engineer

Job Title: Network Operations L2 Engineer
Location: Gurgaon India / Remote / Hybrid
Experience: 5 8 years


Responsibilities:
  • Provide Level 2 support for network issues related to DC ACI VXLAN OSPF BGP.

  • Perform incident response root cause analysis and generate RCA reports.

  • Execute approved MOPs and participate in change management activities.

  • Review action plans perform server migrations and support DR drills.

  • Maintain accurate documentation of network diagrams configurations and incidents.

  • Ensure device inventory is updated and under monitoring backup and CMDB tools.

  • Collaborate with L1/L3 teams as well as Infrastructure and Security teams.

Required Skills:
  • 5 8 years of experience in Network Operations or NOC environment.

  • Good hands-on knowledge of Cisco ACI Nexus switches and VXLAN.

  • Proficiency in Routing/Switching (OSPF BGP VLANs STP MPLS).

  • Experience with tools like SolarWinds Cisco Prime ServiceNow.

  • Familiarity with change and incident management processes (ITIL preferred).

  • Strong analytical and communication skills.

Preferred:
  • Cisco certifications: CCNA / CCNP (Data Center or R&S preferred).

  • Experience supporting clients in Banking/Financial Services is a plus.
