Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Work as an onsite Process Engineer in a process plant environment.
- Deliver designs and Engineering packages related to process engineering for industrial plants.
- Define the scope of work discussing with customer coordinate with the offshore team and deliver the engineering deliverables.
- Coordinate with customer to collect all the required inputs to complete the engineering design.
- Coordinate with vendors and construction team to get the required information for completing the design and technical evaluation of vendor quotations.
- Attend design reviews along with customer and the construction team and get the necessary approvals.
- Support in construction and start up activities.
- Support start-up activities as needed.
- Should have worked as a Process design Engineer for industrial plants (Chemical Agrochemical Pharmaceutical Fine chemicals Specialty chemicals Food & Beverages).
- Strong knowledge on chemical engineering fundamentals like heat transfer fluid mechanics solid handling mass transfer etc.
- Ability to prepare and review PFDs and P&IDs.
- Ability to perform mass & energy balance calculation process equipment sizing calculations line sizing and hydraulic calculations.
- Should be able to specify process plant equipment and hands on experience in sizing and selection of equipment as per project requirement.
- Powder handling equipment sizing and design experience is a must.
- Should be able to specify pump heat exchanger tank and other equipment independently.
- Experience working in process safety management activities Sizing & selection of safety devices would be a plus.
- Conversant with MS office application is must.
- Familiarity in working in AutoCAD will be an added advantage.
- Familiarity with Aspen plus HTRI AFT Fathom AFT Arrow and any other hydraulic calculation software will be an added advantage.
