Role Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans appropriate for primary age students.
- Create a positive learning environment that fosters student growth and development.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods and instructional materials to meet different learning styles.
- Assess and evaluate student progress through regular tests and assessments.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of student performance and attendance.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress.
- Foster a love for learning through interactive and hands-on activities.
- Manage classroom behavior and promote a respectful and inclusive classroom culture.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create an integrated curriculum.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.
- Organize and supervise extracurricular activities to enrich the educational experience.
- Assist in developing and modifying instructional plans to support individual student needs.
- Incorporate technology effectively into lessons to support and enhance learning.
- Provide support and guidance to students during their academic and personal growth.
- Stay updated on educational best practices and curricular changes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Education or relevant field.
- Teaching certification or license as required by local regulations.
- Proven experience in teaching primary education.
- Strong understanding of child development and educational psychology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and engage students effectively.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Knowledge of curriculum standards and assessment methods.
- Adaptability to diverse student needs and classroom settings.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in using educational technology and software.
- Understanding of classroom management techniques.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and improvement.
