My Leading Financial Services client is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Head of Protection Sales to lead their team. As the preferred candidate will possess a proven track record in building and managing high-performing sales teams specifically in the financial services industry.
You will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies establishing training and development programs and implementing efficient processes to drive sales growth.
Responsibilities:
- Lead manage and support the sales team to achieve targets and revenue goals.
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to increase conversion rates and drive business growth.
- Build and expand a sales team of 40 professionals through effective recruitment onboarding and training.
- Establish a robust training and development infrastructure including sales training coaching and performance management.
- Implement efficient processes and procedures for streamlined sales operations and compliance.
- Foster a culture of innovation collaboration and customer-centricity within the sales team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
- Stay informed about industry trends market developments and competitors to drive competitive advantage.
- Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders lenders and partners to maximise business opportunities.

- Proven experience in building and leading telephony sales teams of 30 sales professionals in the financial services industry.
- Track record of developing and executing successful sales strategies for revenue growth.
- Strong leadership and people management skills to inspire and mentor a large sales team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for relationship building and collaboration.
- Experience in implementing training coaching and performance management programs.
- Ability to establish effective sales processes procedures and performance metrics.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and make data-driven decisions.
- Strong business acumen and problem-solving skills.
- Results-oriented with a focus on achieving targets and driving sales performance.

Requirements 5+ years experience in secured loan underwriting within a brokerage - Essential Proven ability to creatively repackage cases and find solutions for complex applications Strong understanding of whole of market secured lending products Experience working to strict customer deadlines CeMAP or part CeMAP qualified (not essential but advantageous) Excellent analytical, communication and decision-making skills Strong attention to detail and risk assessment capabilities Ability to work independently in a remote environment
