Job Summary
This Human Resources Generalist position assists the HR and Operations teams in administering policies programs and practices. It provides a wide range of services and support to the organization including recruitment employee records employee relations and employee communications.
Principle Responsibilities
- Maintains employment records confidentially timely and accurately including new hire paperwork benefit forms and change notices.
- Updates the HRIS for HR Benefits and Payroll processing and compiles reports from the database as needed
- Conducts new hire orientation annual benefits enrollment and other training sessions as needed
- Coordinates employee relations issues to ensure the prompt and appropriate resolution
- Maintains weekly monthly and annual metrics
- Assists with writing communications ensuring thorough familiarity and that they are interpreted relatively and applied consistently
- Assists with worker compensation claims management by staying in contact with claims handlers employees and site management
- Devise programs for operational improvement (i.e. recognition morale safety)
- Conducts exit interviews and completes paperwork for departing employees
- Assists with the facilitation of the annual performance management process

Education/Experience
- Bachelors degree preferably in Human Resources Management or equivalent experience instead of a degree will be considered
- PHR or SPHR Certification preferred
- Minimum three years of human resources experience including recruitment and responsibilities in a manufacturing setting preferred
- Solid understanding of labor laws and regulations
- Experience working with highly confidential information while maintaining discretion
- Strong commitment to providing world-class customer service
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word Excel PowerPoint and Access
