Job Description

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

In this role you will perform assigned tasks and functions in accordance with organizational instructions established safety procedures and ISO standards. Monitor the production processes to ensure the final product quality meets the customers specification. Assigns develop and direct team members to competently perform the below in a manner that meets the production schedule targets productivity goals and product specifications:

  • Set up and operate all equipment according to company procedures standards and work instructions.
  • Follow all processing measuring packaging and shipping procedures as directed.
  • Help identify and resolve production-related issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain workflow.
  • Ensure all team members adhere to safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Assist with training and guidance to new and existing production workers
  • Complete all computer work and paperwork neatly and correctly as directed.
  • Comply with all company labor policies.
  • Work 65% hands on the production floor
  • Perform any other duties as assigned or required.

 

 


Qualifications :

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE:

  • Internal Applicants Only
  • 1Year Cell Lead Experience
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Consistently exceeds the expectations of a Cell Lead
  • Displays a positive attitude and a strong desire to learn and grow.
  • Successfully completed all company training as required.
  • Demonstrated examples of leadership ability capable of influencing others in a confident positive and results-oriented manner
  • Strong communications and employee relations skills
  • Be able to pass blueprint reading.
  • Knowledge of operating methods and procedures as they relate to their work center.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform assigned job functions in a manner which will consistently meet quality requirements and production standards.
  • Works safely and keeps work area clear of potential hazards.
  • Deals effectively and cooperatively with established policies and procedures

 


Additional Information :

THE ENVIRONMENT

  • Safety is our highest priority and safety procedures / guidelines must be always adhered to. This includes safety wear such asi.e. safety glasses safety shoes gloves.
  • The job is within a non-climate-controlled environment where you will be exposed to temperature swings (hot/cold) forklift and pedestrian traffic and noise.
  •  The role involves various physical tasks including lifting and operating machinery with comprehensive training provided.
  • Frequent sitting ranging from 2.5 to 5.5 hours per day
  • Frequent standing ranging from 2.5 to 5.5 hours per day
  • Frequent walking ranging from 2.5 to 5.5 hours per day
  • Occasional reaching ranging from .25 to 2.5 hours per day
  • Occasional bending/stooping ranging from .25 to 2.5 hours per day
  • Occasional lifting weights ranging from 0-50 pounds .25 to 2.5 hours per day
  • Will never be required to lift anything over 50 pounds without assistance
  • Occasional pushing/pulling ranging from .25 to 2.5 hours per day
  • Continuous fine manipulation ranging from 5.5 to 8 hours per day
