Ready to build the future one structure at a time AECOM is seeking a Structural Engineer II to join our team in Denver CO or Columbus OH.

- Get your hands dirty with a smorgasbord of projects from entertainment to government and everything in between.
- Team up with seasoned engineers on large projects while also taking the reins on smaller structural design projects.
- Become the captain of your own ship managing small to medium-sized projects independently.
Your daily adventures will include:
- Flexing your mental muscles with structural analysis and design
- Playing matchmaker between different design disciplines and preparing contract documents
- Donning your hard hat for some hands-on construction administration
- Channeling your inner Shakespeare to craft compelling structural reports assessments and studies

Qualifications :
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering Structural Engineering or Architectural Engineering from and ABET accredited university or related field 2 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
- US Citizenship required.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Master of Science (with structural engineering concentration)
- Engineer in Training Certification
- Demonstrated experience applying all major structural design codes.
- Demonstrated experience using 3-D structural analysis software. (examples include ETABS SAP RISA RAM and SAFE)
- Experience designing in Steel Concrete Masonry and Timber (CLT)
- Experience with Wind and Seismic lateral design
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated experience in use of REVIT/AutoCAD to provide production support as a portion of team support and development
- Experience with performance-based design
- Experience with ASCE 41 for retrofit of existing structures
