Customer Service Representative
Location: Tyler TX
Pay: $21.00/hour to $24.00/hour depending on experience
Schedule: MondayFriday 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
What Youll Do
- Process customer orders and requests accurately and efficiently.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and the outside sales team.
- Manage warehouse releases for billing and complete final filing upon receipt of invoices from the Accounting Department.
- Coordinate pricing approvals from customers and sales representatives with the General Manager.
- Provide ongoing service and support to existing accounts.
- Investigate and resolve customer complaints by identifying issues developing solutions and escalating to management when necessary.
- Keep the Sales Operations Manager informed of customer concerns and inventory-related issues.
- Collaborate with the Shipping Department and Distribution Centers to ensure accurate and timely order shipments.
- Assist with inventory management tasks and the preparation of inventory reports.
- Proactively seek opportunities to expand knowledge of the industry and the products represented.
- While the above responsibilities will be the primary focus of this job the company reserves the right to assign additional duties as necessary to meet operational needs.
Qualifications :
- Associate degree or equivalent post-secondary education (2 years) preferred.
- A minimum of three years of experience in a customer service environment may be considered in lieu of formal education.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel at an advanced level is required.
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate strong self-motivation.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is preferred.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong decision-making problem-solving and creative thinking abilities.
