As the commercial strategy & planning manager you will contribute to the national strategy to improve sales results market share and financial return. Youll partner with the broader customer development team to create innovative opportunities for our retailers. As this role works across multiple hello functions youll tap into those strong collaboration skills and your attention to detail to ensure the efficient and effective execution of the hello brand and retail strategies. Your organization and prioritization skills will be key as you work across a wide number of projects including long lead planning oversight 5P management and monthly sales and operations forecasting (just to name a few).

Youll apply data and insights to explore new opportunities and to knock out those day-to-day business situations. Youll develop deep insights communicate meaningful recommendations to continue building shared growth.

what youll do

  • Provide thought leadership on commercial strategy including distribution 5P planning and portfolio prioritization

  • Own and manage the monthly financial roll-up and SKU rationalization for the hello portfolio

  • Oversee the go-to-market (GTM) process ensuring alignment with customer timelines and strategic priorities

  • Conduct and present product and retailer performance analyses to inform business decisions

  • Manage product transitions at the customer level including configuration bottle UPC and formula changes as well as discontinuations and product updates

  • Support legal supply chain and production teams by tracking allocation resolving bottlenecks and prioritizing production as needed

  • Lead the execution of special projects such as gift sets club bundles exclusive launches and display initiatives

  • Create and maintain master sales decks and support the execution of brand vision across all customer touchpoints

  • Collaborate closely with Marketing Supply Chain Finance and Innovation teams to ensure seamless communication and alignment on goals

  • Support pricing strategy (sell-in SPI innovation and promo) and new item launches providing robust sales forecasting and insights

  • Facilitate smooth onboarding of new team members and act as a cross-functional liaison to drive enterprise initiatives

  • Represent Commercial in business reviews mid-year assessments and budget planning

required qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Business Marketing or a related field

  • 6 years of experience in commercial strategy sales planning category management or related CPG role

  • Proficiency with sales analytics demand forecasting and industry-standard tools (advanced excel is a plus)

  • Experience working with a syndicated service (Nielsen IRI) account

preferred qualifications

  • Masters degree
  • Experience working in consumer product goods

  • Microsoft Office or Google Suite proficiency (i.e Sheets Slides Docs)

  • Passion for sustainability innovation and challenging the status quo in consumer goods

  • Comfort with ambiguity adaptability and a roll up your sleeves attitude

  • Demonstrated entrepreneurial mindset with a track record of identifying and capitalizing on growth opportunities

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities with an ability to synthesize data into actionable insights

  • Excellent collaboration communication and influencing skills with experience working cross-functionally

  • Skilled at managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced dynamic environment


Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $133000.00 - $150000.00 USD

Pay is determined based on experience qualifications and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses profit-sharing and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.

Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package including medical dental vision basic life insurance paid parental leave disability coverage and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employees hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws. Detailed information regarding paid sick leave entitlements will be provided to employees upon hiring and may be subject to adjustments based on changes in legislation or company policies.
