Senior Solution Advisor - Business SuiteLeader

SAP a global leader in enterprise software is seeking a highly skilled Senior Solution Advisor Business Suite to join our dynamic team. This senior-level role is pivotal in driving bookings generating demand and ensuring consumption and adoption of SAPs cutting-edge Business Suite solutions. As a trusted advisor you will engage C-level professionals align SAP offerings with complex customer business and technology needs and deliver measurable outcomes including net bookings demand growth renewals and long-term customer relationships. This role is integral to advancing SAPs strategic goals and solidifying our leadership in the ERP market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demand Generation: Spearhead high-impact 1:1 and 1:M (many-to-many) demand generation initiatives including targeted executive briefings workshops and events to build a robust pipeline for SAP Business Suite and Finance solutions.
  • Executive Engagement: Lead first-time meetings with C-level stakeholders to establish trust articulate SAPs value proposition and align solutions with customer priorities.
  • Deal Qualification and Progression: Qualify high-potential deals and expertly guide them through the sales cycle leveraging both 1:1 and 1:M strategies to secure closures and maximize revenue.
  • Customer Adoption and Relationship Building: Foster strong post-sale relationships with customers to ensure successful adoption across the SAP Business Suite solutions driving long-term satisfaction and expansion opportunities.
  • Workshops and Events: Design and deliver Value Exploration Workshops and Innovation Workshops to showcase SAPs capabilities and address customer pain points. Provide thought leadership at industry events and internal account planning sessions.
  • Strategic Alignment: Provide cross-Business Suite solutioning and BOM creation. Collaborate with account teams to align SAP solutions with customer business strategies addressing complex challenges that extend beyond our offerings and proactively demonstrating SAPs unique value.
  • Thought Leadership: Challenge customers with innovative perspectives teach best practices and pitch business suite process optimizations to drive transformation and inspire proactive growth.
  • Team Mentor: Serve as a go-to expert with a strong personal brand coaching and mentoring sales teams and junior Solution Advisors (SAs). Contribute to Voice of the Field initiatives to shape SAPs product and go-to-market strategies.
  • Broad Impact: Drive measurable outcomes across revenue renewals and customer adoption ensuring a lasting impact on SAPs business suite portfolio.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 10 years in ERP-related enterprise software sales solution advisory or consulting with a proven track record of engaging C-level executives and driving multi-million-dollar deals.
  • Domain Expertise: Deep knowledge of SAP business suite processes (e.g. finance procurement planning etc) and expertise in multiple key industries (e.g. manufacturing retail healthcare).
  • Skills:
    • Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex solutions to diverse audiences.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address customer challenges and align solutions with strategic goals.
    • Proven leadership in coaching mentoring and teaching sales teams or peers.
    • Ability to deliver compelling workshops events and pitches that inspire action.
  • Attributes:
    • Established personal brand as a trusted advisor in the ERP domain.
    • Proactive innovative mindset with a passion for challenging the status quo.
    • Collaborative team player with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with SAPs business suite solutions or comparable enterprise platforms. Ability to master SAPs business architecture is critical.
  • Education: Bachelors degree in Business IT or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel 25% -50% for customer engagements events and internal meetings.

SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 137300 - actual amount to be offered to the successful candidatewill be within that range dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education skillsexperience scope ofthe role location etc. as determinedthrough theselection process.
