Job Purpose:
To provide effective management and leadership for EU repair depot involving multiple technical and administrative disciplines. The Site Lead is responsible for overseeing all operations at the service depot including the setup and fit-out of the new facility. This role ensures timely responses consistent coverage and the production of accurate work.
The Site Lead supervises work schedules to ensure coverage of main work streams ensures administrative staff document procedures and implements cross-training for backup support. Additionally the Site Lead acts as the onsite Radiation Protection Supervisor (RPS) regularly checking equipment and maintaining required records.
This role also involves maintaining component tracing software to track repeat returns and the cycles of repaired parts producing data summaries as needed and communicating work schedules to technicians to ensure output and prioritize repairs.
The Site Lead keeps records of employee training and certifications ensures effective technical practices for high-quality repairs and maintains and updates onsite test fixtures for quality control. The Site Lead supervises all onsite staff.
Duties:
- Manage the EU repair depot supervise staff and daily depot operations and lead the local facility setup of the depot.
- Responsible for all deliverables and meeting the SLAs and KPIs for the repair depot and reporting of monthly KPIs
- Organizes allocates resources and manages the internal multidisciplinary teams schedule work coverage of main work streams based on priority.
- Ensure administrative staff document procedures for cross-training maintain records of employee training and certifications.
- Track repeat returns and cycles of repaired parts producing summaries as requested.
- Act as the onsite Radiation Protection Supervisor maintaining up-to-date records.
- Act as the onsite Safety Supervisor ensuring all test units/fixtures are safe functioning correctly and are appropriately labeled. Ie High voltage Rotating assembly etc. And all safety protocols are enforced.
- Prepares detailed Monthly Management Review and presents to senior management
- Develops and uses control methods and reporting for forecasting identifying monitoring and resolving variances in scope cost time and quality.
- Ensure compliance with Company policies for Ethics Health Environment and Safety.
- Capture all COPQ information and work with Ops and P&T to improve reliability of repaired parts
- Point of escalation for all parts repair issues/problems for relevant parts
- Lead recruitment activities of staff to include interviewing selection hiring and salary negotiation.
- Coach develop retain review and recommend corrective action for employees.
- Strong organizational skills & self-discipline to work independently with limited supervision.
- Responsible for the budget (P&L) of the repair depot
- Ensure spare part inventory levels are maintained and accurate
- Ensure appropriate certification and existing certifications are up to date. Ie forklift driver etc.
Qualifications :
Technical Knowledge and Skills:
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal communication skills with the ability to interface comfortably with all levels in the organization including executive management
- Individual must be open and approachable and demonstrate solid communication skills both oral and written.
- Experience in a leadership role within a service organisation and responsibility for leading the growth of a business
- Computer literacy competency in use of all programs within MS Office Suite and aptitude for learning specialized software programs.
- A strong orientation for customer focus and teamwork will be required.
- Exceptional business and manpower management skills.
- Significant knowledge and understanding of people and the ability to teach train motivate and develop staff.
- Excellent people manager open to direction and collaborative work style and commitment to get the job done
