Job Description
Overview:
To ensure the efficient functioning of the Soup & Sandwich department (B Model) providing customers with the best quality foods ensuring courteous timely customer service.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensuring exceptional customer service is provided in a courteous manner to maintain our reputation for friendly effective and personalized experience.
- To direct and supervise all Soup & Sandwich (B Model) staff to secure efficient and courteous customer service;
- To respond immediately to any customer inquiries requests and complaints ensuring courteous customer relations at all times;
- To maximize sales and gross profit ensuring sales goals budgets and shrink targets are met;
- Responsible for ordering receiving inventory and display of merchandise;
- To hire all part-time staff and train new employees;
- To schedule all Soup Salad and Sandwich clerks ensuring the strict control of wage costs;
- To interpret and administer Company policy and ensure compliance with the union contract;
- To ensure the maintenance of equipment as well as the safety and sanitation of the department;
- To ensure compliance with the company food safety standards regulations and audits;
- Other duties as assigned.
The Ideal Candidate Would Possess:
- Exceptional customer service skills
- The ideal candidate must possess a minimum of 3-5 years experience in the prepared foods industry with previous management experience in either a restaurant or fast food operation;
- Post secondary education in culinary preparation such as line cooking procedures are a definite asset;
- Flexibility to work a variety of hours including days evenings and weekends;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure;
- Excellent organization communication and interpersonal skills.
