Job Description
Provide research services to include data cleaning data visualization statistical analysis data presentation and dissemination of results independently or under the guidance of the Facility Manager. Manage distributed analysis on the MSU supercomputer clusters (Hyalite and Tempest). Stay current in relevant research methodologies and pursue training and professional development opportunities as needed. Ensure timely and efficient completion of analysis projects consistently meeting established deadlines. Manage work concurrently on multiple projects switching as frequently as necessary. Communicate with clients in an ongoing manner to ensure projects stay on track in terms of client needs. Provide accurate estimates of time and effort for projects forecasting availability into the future. Assist the Facility Manager with the operation of the facility as needed. Supply training on relevant research methods to constituents beyond facility clients.
