SAP Concur runs the worlds leading travel-and-expense SaaS platformmillions of users billions of receipts and petabytes of rich spend data. We are embarking on a boldAI-first data-first transformation that puts large-language models (LLMs) and agentic automation at the heart of the user experience.

To make that happen we need arock-star engineersomeone who blends world-class architecture skills with hands-on coding can lead by influence across dozens of agile squads and turns ambiguous problems into reliable scalable solutions.

What Youll Do

• Architect and build production-grade agent flows: retrieval tool orchestration safety guardrails and telemetry
• Lead end-to-end deliverydesign reviews code deploy observe iterate
• Mentor and influence squads to adopt modern AI patterns and automation best practices
• Drive performance and cost efficiency of LLM integrations at enterprise scale

What Makes You a Fi

• 10 years building high-scale multi-tenant enterprise software
• Hands-on experience shipping LLM/agentic use cases with emerging LLM toolkitse.g. LangChain LangGraph CrewAI OpenAI SDK etc
• Strong backend chops in one or more of Go Java Python Node; plus GraphQL or event-driven architectures
• Proven leadershipcan set technical direction and uplevel other engineers
• Bias for shipping fast safely: feature flags A/B tests structured rollouts
• Prior exposure to finance payments or compliance domains
• Thought-leadership in prompt engineering AI safety or agent evaluation

SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 164700 - 374200(USD) actual amount to be offered to the successful candidatewill be within that range dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education skillsexperience scope ofthe role location etc. as determinedthrough theselection process.
