Position: Mortgage Interim Servicing Coordinator Location: Chesterfield MO Office (Not Remote Eligible) Monday-Friday 8:30 AM 5:00 PM Pay Range: $22-$25 per hour

Position Summary: The Interim Service Coordinator will support the various functions of mortgage lending at the post-closing stage of the loan manufacturing process including but not limited to customer service interim servicing taking customer services calls entering information into company systems verifying accuracy of information processing payments and goodbyes letters and other duties as assigned.
Essential Functions: Responsible for answering the phones solving borrower inquiries and transferring calls accordingly. Serve as the primary point of contact for borrower inquiries during the interim period. Identify and resolve discrepancies in loan and payment data between systems and during transfers. Create and distribute goodbye letters for borrowers in a timely and accurate manner. Process post-close tax and insurance payments via the correct system portals as required. Collaborate with the accounting department to complete tasks and streamline processes. Assist with trailing documents post-closing and coordinate to resolve issues promptly. Ensure loans are appropriately registered and updated in MERS as required.
Experience Required: Read write and comprehend detailed and technical instructions short correspondence and memos. Proficiency in operating Encompass Microsoft Office and e-mail. Concentrate on and pay close attention to detail to closely examine loan-related documentation. Interpersonal skills to deal effectively with a diverse group of employees borrowers and vendors. 5 years of customer service support experience ideally in a retail banking or mortgage lending setting.
Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely utilizes standard office equipment including computers phones photocopiers and filing cabinets. Physical Demands An employee must meet the physical demands described here to perform the essential functions of this job successfully. No or minimal physical effort is requiredno or limited exposure to physical risk. Work is typically performed in a typical office work environment.
