Job Description

Job Title: Senior Residential Support Worker
Location: Bicester Oxfordshire
Salary: 29245 - 30275 per annum
Working Hour: Expected 40 hours per week (varied 8/10/12-hour shifts including weekends and bank holidays)
Hourly Rate: 14.06 - 14.56
Number of Sleeps Required: Varies by rota but typically 4 to 6 per month
Pay Per Sleep: 45
Service: Childrens Home
Service Users: YPs EBD Trauma Complex Needs
Qualifications Required: Level 4 Children Young People and Families Practitioner or Level 3 Residential Childcare
Experience in Years Required: Minimum 1 year

The Home:

  • Number of Beds: 2-bed
  • Location: Bicester Oxfordshire
  • Type of YPs: EBD Trauma Complex Needs
  • Ratio of staff to children: 1:1 and / 2:1 depending on YPs in home

Who we are looking for
We are looking for resilient empathetic and motivated Senior Residential Support Workers to join our clients team in Bicester. You must have strong communication skills the ability to lead by example and the emotional intelligence to support young people who have experienced significant trauma. You will lead shifts support other team members and ensure excellent safeguarding and care planning are maintained throughout.
