Youll be supporting our Growth Strategy working closely with both internal and external stakeholders including local authorities and Welsh Government to deliver homes that meet evolving needs and expectations.
Where does this role fit in
As a Senior Project Manager youll take the lead on our TAC programme managing complex and high-value schemes across the business. Youll provide expert advice and technical input at every stage from feasibility through to completion and aftercare ensuring the delivery of outstanding homes.
Youll also be responsible for managing a Project Manager within the team contributing to their development and helping to embed a culture of high performance collaboration and innovation.
This role reports to the Head of Development and plays a key role in influencing the design and direction of our housing products working in partnership across departments and with senior stakeholders.
What skills and experience do you need
Were looking for someone with a strong background in housing development technical knowledge and a collaborative approach. The ideal candidate will have:
Significant experience in a senior-level role within a development environment with a strong track record in the commercial delivery of large multi-tenure projects.
Proven experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and managing complex development projects from feasibility through to post-completion.
A high level of technical ability and commercial awareness including the ability to quantify abnormal costs conduct risk assessments and advise on procurement.
In-depth knowledge of the construction and housebuilding industry including the role of Registered Social Landlords (RSLs) and S106 agreements.
A strong customer focus with a commitment to quality and the ability to embed this across all stages of a project.
Excellent project management analytical and problem-solving skills.
A degree-level qualification and/or relevant professional qualifications or significant equivalent experience.
A full driving licence and access to a car.
What are the pay and benefits
65126 for a 37 hour full time 15 month maternity cover position
Flexible working policies this role would be both home and office based with regular time spent out on site covering West Wales. Our head office is Swansea where we regularly meet as a team.
